I am a fully qualified Integrative Therapist & Counsellor, and a member of the British Association For Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that I adhere to the BACP’s ethical framework, therefore ethical principles, values and good practice standards are at the core of my practice.
My clients are central to the work that I do and it is my desire to help others in healing and feeling fulfilled in their lives that provided my pathway to becoming a therapist. I believe in recognising and facilitating wholeness in my work with individuals and so tailor my approach to individual needs. I always aim to offer an empathetic, non-judgmental space in which you can feel safe to bring or discover your authentic self.
I have previously worked within an NHS IAPT service, providing short term therapy to a broad range of clients. I am currently an Associate Therapist with The Awareness Centre and the BACP Communities of Practice Champion for Perinatal Mental Health.
Before qualifying as a therapist, I gained a BA in English from University College London and so believe that literature can often provide solace, comfort and the words to express something when our own language fails.
